TYPES OF TEA
The tea plant – camellia sinensis – is a flowering evergreen with leaves that range from 2.5 to 32 cms.
All tea comes from the same species of plant. The variety of tastes comes from differences in growing conditions (terroir in wine-speak), the kind of leaves harvested and the processing technique.
